He certainly didn't mind being out there with her right now. In fact, Sam actually thought that it was something preferable in comparison to the idea of her wandering the streets alone, looking for the vampires that had hurt her so badly the last time. Yes, Faith was a big girl, she could take care of herself. That didn't exactly ease his concerns. Not when he was one of the few to see what those vampires had done to her firsthand.
"Not a problem," he replied, "I want to help you all out with everything. Least I could do after you've always been around to help us with our problems." Which was often. They were a team. That meant they had to stick together, no matter where the bad stuff came from.
