Who: Static and OPEN to anyone. What: taking a look around. When: Monday night Where: The streets. Warnings: none probably
Virgil couldn't stay inside the welcome center anymore. It was a little depressing after a few hours. Watching people get picked up, or leave of their own accord. He decided to be one of the latter. Besides he couldn't even begin to get a feel for the city stuck indoors. Flying always made him feel better. Dakota City, Africa, it didn't much matter where. Stepping into an alley, he strapped on his mask and shot a powerful charge of lightning into it that acted like a cover for a changing room. The static was so bright there was no way to see inside without hurting your eyes anyway. Quickly he changed into his gear. Slipped on his gloves and the electricity faded to darkness. From his navy trench coat he pulled a flying disk that opened like a fan and powered it with a touch of static.
It lifted to the air and already it felt like half the weight on his shoulders was gone. Felt lighter. Pushing some dreads from his face he flew low through the city. Every now and then he found himself looking for a bang baby. Or robbery. But only found stranger looking demons. Who looked up at him equally confused by the costumed kid just above their heads on the disk. Static lowered to the ground and blinked as his eyes adjusted to the dark eerie street. This was just great..Maybe he shouldn't have left the Welcome Center after all. This part of the city seemed to be getting darker, and more uninviting the further in he went. The more bad vibes he felt as he passed demon bars, and other seedy places that sent chills down the back of his neck. With a zap of electricity the flying disk folded back to it's fan like shape and he tucked it away into his coat again, he couldn't be far from the other side of this place could he? He'd been walking for what felt like ten minutes, he was hoping beyond hope that things would get lighter again like before. Unfortunately they didn't, and dawn was still pretty far off.
Oh yeah..this was really proving he could take care of himself. He was still reeling about the League. Batman had invited him to partner with them. Him Static and the League. And he was lost. Great first impression.
