"You and I have different perspectives on what's right for me," he informed her. They had different opinions on a lot of things. Ruby thought she knew what was best for him. It was annoying. She might have been on top with the abilities and knowing how to deal with what he was. But that was it. Sam refused to believe that Ruby knew everything. She might have had the wiser with age thing going for her, but Sam had the advantage of knowing what was right and what was wrong. Something she was severely lacking in.
He rubbed at his eyes tiredly. Again, Ruby pushing on what she thought was best for him. She really did tire him out. "I don't like the job," he muttered, "but I'm not quitting so there's no use in complaining about it." He didn't even waste any breath on commenting about the possession thing.
