Admitting to a demon what his one true weakness was probably wasn't the best plan in the world. Ruby or not. It was common knowledge, no matter how he chose to reply to that statement. Lying would only give Ruby the chance to take another jab at his supposed skills of that trade and being honest with her would only give her the satisfaction of knowing that she was entirely right about it all. Common knowledge or not, he was tired of seeing that smug look on her face every time she proved him wrong.
"Doesn't matter what my weakness is. We're not talking about it."
Oh, so now she was offering to let him punch her in the face. The temptation struck him fast again. "You already know the damn answer. You don't need to hear it from me. Point in case is that it doesn't matter what I think. It's what I know. And I know that what you keep trying to throw in my face is fucking wrong. That's all that matters to me."
He folded his arms over his chest and looked away.
"I said no. That's my choice. It's not up for discussion."
