Ter looked beyond annoyed, but of coarse he was. Max was one of the few who could get away with picking on him and she knew it. Anyone else would get a glare of ice and he learned from the finest -learned from watching Wayne. "Yeah yeah."
He waved her off as they headed for the Chili place and he opened the door for her with a smirk. "Aw come on, I thought you were into all things old school." He teased and mocked, getting a good laugh at her expense before slipping into a booth and giving the menu a once over.
"...The Joker. We thought things were complicated when that clone showed up before, well now.." Terry trailed off, things were even more complicated. "Whenever I think about it, I just know he's going to use knowing my identity against me." He muttered in annoyance, the whole thing was getting too him. "Part of me knows this is how he wants me to react.." He shook his head. "The whole thing is just a mess.. I'm happy she's here, but she doesn't deserve to find out everything from him." Bitterness seethed off the last couple words, he watched out for passers by making sure none of them were stopping to listen in. Though he doubted they cared about what high school kids were talking about, still he had to be cautious.
