The atmosphere was still buzzing and happy as complete strangers swore that they were best friends and for that moment, they were. Such was the good feeling of St Patrick's day.
So when someone she'd never met sat down beside her and ordered herself a Guinness Faith grinned widely and handed the barman some cash for it before the other woman could, before she held her almost empty glass up in a toast.
"Lá Fhéile Pádraig," she said, in slurred Irish with a wide smile.
