Heather just made a thoughtful sort of sound in response to that. She wasn't quite sure what to say. She knew it was a good thing that Cian responded so well to her, but it was a shock at the same time. Heather still thought of herself as a social klutz who was going to be one of the worst mothers of all time.
She listened to Tonks and, while she didn't want to put any attention on herself in all of this, she had to voice her previous thoughts, if only for her friend's sake. "You have no idea how much I can relate," she said with a shake of her head. Then, she gave a wry sort of smile. "Or actually, you probably do. I talk to you about it a lot more than I talk to anyone else. But yeah, I mean, why do they always have to blame themselves and then want to hole themselves up away from you? They can never let you be there, they can never let you shoulder some of the weight. It's always just them." Another shake of her head. "I hope you have a better time of it than I did with the whole thing. I mean -- you will. You two will be fine. I know you will."
