"I think somebody mentioned a sleeping potion to me a while back," Heather replied thoughtfully. "Don't know why I never took them up on the offer, though. Maybe I should now, considering I won't get much in a couple months anyway."
Noting the way Tonks had sighed, Heather thought for a moment and said, "I know you guys have magic on your side, but if you need any help fixing things up, let me know." She wanted to help. And besides, once she was all moved out, she knew she was going to want some new distractions. There wouldn't be so many people readily available to her anymore.
"Of course you did," she assured the other woman gently. "Things are gonna be okay. Just might take some time. It's a lot to deal with." Heather hated the aspect of things taking time. She wasn't patient by any stretch of the imagination, but that was only part of it. Time didn't always necessarily heal everything. Sometimes it made the pain harder to deal with. That was the case for her at the moment, but she didn't say that. This wasn't about her, after all.
With a small chuckle, she shook her head and looked back down at the baby. "Either that, or he knows how bad I am at all this and he's deciding to take it easy on me."
