"The head. Right. Got it," she replied, obviously very unsure of herself as she took hold of the small baby. She didn't want Tonks to think she was leaving her son in incapable hands though, and so she was quick to mask any uncertainty she might have felt about the whole thing. Cian wasn't screaming his head off, so that was a good sign, she figured.
As she gazed down at the little baby she was now holding, a small, almost unnoticable smile reaching her mouth, she heard Tonks' voice carrying over from the bathroom. She definitely took note of the hiss of pain, but she figured if it was an 'it could have been worse' situation, she would be okay by herself.
"No," she called back, gently beginning to rock Cian a little in her arms. "I was up anyway. I don't sleep much tp begin with." Between the raging storm that was always going on inside her head and symptoms of her pregnancy, who could sleep?
