Nate took the folder and slid it towards himself. He skimmed it as he spoke to Lindsey, taking a few minutes as always to read over the paperwork. “Then it seems you really are twins. He doesn’t have that many friends either. Not that I could tell.” He was smirking, unable to hide it. “If you’re good with your fist and a boy from the good ol’ south, I’m really going to get worried.” He looked up at Lindsey, one eyebrow raised. He was only half- joking.
“I got the impression from Hardison. He was ecstatic over storm troopers and supergirl. Or superwoman. Something like that.” He shrugged his shoulders. “Though I’m told, the one person that I wouldn’t mind being here… She’s not.” He sighed. He couldn’t help it. The thing with him and Sophie was complicated. And it always would be. He looked up at Lindsey, giving him another smile. “If Linda Carter shows up as Wonder Woman, I’ll die a happy man.”
He flipped a few pages through the folder. “All looks good to me.” He took the pen and started to sign where the large x’s were. “I’ll talk to Hardison. Tell your man I can cut a check and drop by with it tomorrow. Maybe the day after?”
