If only he knew. Nathan had no problem going beyond natural means. He had no problem doing things that someone else might not do. He looked up at Lindsey, watching him as he made sure the door was shut. One eyebrow arched, but he opted in not saying anything. Not yet. To make a man speak, one just had to let the silence linger.
“I think Klondike bars are possible.” He looked around the office. “Did they have a fridge and freezer that they might have left us,” he joked. He leaned back in his chair, thinking it over. What could he tell Lindsey? And what did he want to tell Lindsey? Hey, did you know you have a twin who’s all muscle and likes beating up people, in lesbian bars on occasion? Okay, maybe not.
“You’re right. I’m not from here. It’s complicated.” He smiled playfully at the other man. “I have a few people here, team members of mine, that are rather bored. They’re looking for something to do. I don’t blame them. I could use a bit of entertainment as well.” He chuckled, his head ducking down just a bit before looking back up at Lindsey. “I’m guessing taking down a law firm might be a bit of fun. We’ve taken down the government, in small doses. What’s one more blood sucking agency?” It was funny that he put it that way.
