The moment of hesitation wasn't lost on Lindsey, as used to reading his opponent as he was. Nate's excuse had been that he was expecting to meet someone else but he wondered if there was more to it. The thought was dismissed just as quick. He was here to do the boss a favor.
He unzipped the briefcase hanging from his shoulder and dug out the folder with the papers and the set of keys that went with it. "First time but there's a cheat sheet to work with," he laughed, unlocking the door and pushing it open. A few steps into the dark, his fingers brushing against the wall, he found the switch and turned the lights on.
