He shook his head and smiled. "Nothing to be sorry for. I have thought about it, how could I not? It's just the what if.. they're far too numerous. But I know what I know. Creed was merely my brother and he loathed me, despised me. I could only imagine how my kid would feel after me not being there for him."
He pulled her into the crook of his arm and wrapped an arm around her, stroking her hair softly. when she tried with that little look of hers he chuckled. "How many times have you asked that already? And how many times have I told you hell would sooner freeze over than me give up that surprise?" His brow cocked at her and he smiled.
"But that's my wife, persistent to a fault." He kissed her temple. "But you had to be, or else we may of never ended up together." That was true, their story wasn't an easy one by any means. He'd been with someone else when he met her and thought he was completely happy. But then, from the moment he met her something just clicked inside of him and he wanted her.
If Logan were completely honest it wasn't even him that felt the need so deeply. It was the more dominant side of him. The Wolverine. He wanted her and he would not be denied. The will is strong, but the flesh is weak. Logan had never really been much of the faithful type and he'd told everyone he became intimate with that. It wasn't that he cheated on Cordelia, at least not physically. They were over when he came to be with Selene. In his heart and mind though, he'd been very unfaithful.
But ever since Selene came along he hadn't had those urges. She was more than enough to keep him satiated.
