Selene laughed softly. "You are not what exhausts me, my love. It is a tiresome job growing a person. I feel as though I could sleep for weeks and still need more." Although when he got close she could feel her body heating up from the inside out. He had a profound effect on her, one that she could not seem to control. "No one has ever taken up the job of protecting me, I like it." Even though she could do without the dog nipping at her heels when he was too busy to follow. "Only one request, that dog of yours must leave me be when I am in the bathroom."
Let her down? Was he mad? The way she was looking at him right then spoke of her confusion. It was nothing to hash out though so she simply pursed her lips and thought about the next thing he asked. A nervous laugh fell from her pouty lips. "I can only hope given what we are that it does not have two heads and a horn protruding from it's head." Although it sounded like a joke she was terrified of what her virus might do to a child. Never had a vampire mated with anyone outside of the coven. There had been children born but they were of pure blood, she had no experience with what was happening to her.
A deep red blush rose in her cheeks. "Well, I had to up the ante, after all I am not your usual fare." She loved the way he was lavishing attention upon her stomach. Every time his warm lips touched her skin she nearly purred, her body arching toward the touch, her skin breaking out in a web of goosebumps.
