"Ah think you might be the sweet one," Rogue said, but this time she was actually smiling. She could at least show some appreciation for his flirting, even if she knew nothing real would ever come of it.
Marie had been in a relationship before; in fact, it had ended shortly before she had been sent there. She had realized that no matter how much she cared for a person, that none of her romantic pursuits would stay interested in her for long.
Showing physical affection was part of a real romantic relationship, and Rogue couldn't express herself that way without hurting them. The no touching thing tended to put a damper on things that way.
"Yeah, ah'm stayin' with a couple of friends," she answered. Though, she was beginning to view Logan and Selene more like family. She might not have known Selene for long, but she was an extension of Logan, therefore she was good in Rogue's book.
