Marie was actually glad that she didn't need to talk about it. Rehashing all of what happened with the Professor, Jean and Scott was always painful to those who had known them. While she felt slightly apprehensive to know Dr. Grey was there, she didn't exactly hate her.... but she feared what it would mean for this city if she turned into that monster again.
"Storm's in charge now, though," she said a moment later, smiling slightly.
She was actually doing a wonderful job with running both the school and the X-Men. But she had a feeling that was because that there wasn't much need for the X-Men now. Not that there was total peaceful co-existence between mutants and humans, but things were just a little less dangerous since Magneto seemed to have disappeared.
Was he gone for good? She doubted it. But it was nice to not have to worry about him or his Brotherhood for a change.
"Wow. Thanks," said Rogue with a grateful smile, while she began to pull the gloves onto her hands. That smile turned into a furtive smirk when she heard them playfully arguing about the dog.
