"Thank you." She said quietly as she watched Marie flip through the pages. The dress had been a good decision, one that she wrestled with for weeks. Picking up the sandwich Logan had made she took a big bite, nearly groaning at the taste. Typically she was strictly a blood drinker, something about the change in her body had her craving the strangest things. Like human food. It was nothing more then a sandwich but to her taste buds it was heavenly. She chalked it up to the fact that her child would not be a vampire but something else.
Her highest hope was that this child was not like her at all.
When he mentioned he had been married before she swallowed the bite of bread and meat hard. It could not be helped, he had a life before her, still in her mind she liked to lie to herself and think she was the first.
Staying quite she continued to eat her food. Licking her fingers and washing down the last bite with a gulp from her glass.
"I should make up the bed in the guest room." She began to get up, her hand resting on the table. "There is a bathroom right across the hall that can be yours. Do you need clothes?" She was certain they were about the same size, she could borrow her something for the night. "I have a few things you can borrow until I can take you shopping."
