"Happens more often than you'd think." He took a sip from his beer and set the plates on the table while he leaned against the counter. Logan stayed on edge these days.
"No, she's not dead." He had no idea what period Marie was from and honestly, he didn't feel like explaining to one more person that he didn't stab Jean. Last he saw her a wall of water was tumbling down upon her as she saved all their lives.
Logan chuckled softly. Some of his memories had returned to him. "Been married before. Just... didn't remember it until recently." He hated that most of his life had been ripped from him. Though he couldn't help but wonder if Stryker was right and he had volunteered to do it. Surely he wouldn't of agreed had he known his memories would be gone. Unless...
He glanced over at Selene and smiled, giving her a little wink. "She was damn gorgeous on that beach."
That night she'd given him more than agreeing to be his wife. She gave him hope.
