Rogue trailed a few paces behind Selene and Logan to, more or less, take in her new surroundings. She figured it'd probably be for the best if she took Selene up on her offer to stay there, providing Logan agreed to it, which she was almost a hundred and ten percent sure that he would. It wasn't like she was just some random stranger off the street, after all.
Grabbing a seat next to Selene, she watched as Logan stalked across the kitchen to fetch their drinks. Before she knew it, he had already come back and dropped off both hers and Selene's drinks in front of them.
"Back?" she echoed, blinking. "No," Marie said, shaking her head. "This is mah first time here."
Not that she was calling either of them liars, but she had no recollection of being here before now. At least, not that she was aware of.
She popped her soda open and took a swig of the fizzy liquid with in. Aah, that felt much better. Soda might not have been considered a good substitute for water, but it sure as hell tasted much better.
"Is that okay with you, Logan?" she asked, after Selene had asked about her staying there with them. "It doesn't have to be permanent... ah could just stay here long enough to find mah own place." And a job, because she'd need money in order to do that.
Just then, Selene had gotten up from the table and took off to get the wedding pictures. She couldn't help but find that amusing, because she couldn't even imagine Logan wearing a tux.... if he even wore one, that is. He didn't strike her as much of a traditionalist when it came to formal occasions.
"So.... you're married now?"
Yeah, that was going to take a while to get used to.
