The look she gave him back said, 'What?'. All she did was answer the door. Part of her almost liked getting him a little riled up. There was no one more fiercely protective then he and Selene was not use to such attention. She was growing to like it. Besides, when he made that stern face and gave a little growl, she found him absolutely adorable.
Brushing past her husband with a bashful grin and a flush of color in her cheeks Selene headed for the kitchen. He really needed to learn to wear a shirt. "Can I get either of you something to drink?" She paused at the large arch that opened into the kitchen. "Maybe something to eat?" They could have a moment or two to catch up while she fixed them something, or at least that is was she was attempting to do. Not wanting to startle the girl by drinking a glass of blood, Selene decided to play the part of 'human' for a bit. Not everyone was comfortable with seating beside a born and bred killer.
"I think a turkey sandwich sounds wonderful." She cooed in a sweet accent as she made her way to the fridge.
