The door had been opened and Rogue took in the sight of the woman who she assumed to be Selene. She was unusually pale, with dark hair and strikingly pretty eyes, and from what she could tell, she seemed very happy to see her. Then she noticed her frown at the state in which she had arrived, but Rogue tried to smile despite this.
"Ah'll be all right," Rogue assured her, in that light Southern drawl of hers. "Ah just need ta sit down for a bit and ah'll be as good as new."
After imprinting Wolverine into her psyche so many times, he as well as his powers had become a permanent part of her. Although she possessed some of his enhanced abilities, there were nowhere near as strong or as accurate as his own. But they were close enough, that she'd be able to recover fairly quick.
When Selene gestured for her to come inside, she did so, but was careful not to get too close; she wasn't wearing any gloves. In fact, both of her arms were completely exposed. It was a good thing Selene seemed to know to keep her distance.
"Thanks for invitin' me over," she said, once she was standing in the foyer.
