Anna nearly groaned as the voices played through her head. ...you'd be surprised at how easy it technically is when She's not Herself. They hadn't stopped. For hours now, they kept going, and going. God was missing, they were getting worried, and Anna had a front row seat about everything that was happening. Perfect, just perfect. She half wondered if Lucifer would get a kick out of this.
Sighing, she turned to her laptop that was infront of her on the bar. It hadn't really picked up in here yet, it was still quiet. So she could sit at the counter and drink her tea in peace while she read the various reactions to what she was informing the local 'Heroes.' She wasn't trying to say 'quick, rally the troops.' But people had the right to know that someone out there was capable of capturing God, and who knew if God could become a weapon? It seemed quite possible, given everything that happened in this city.
Running a hand through her red hair, she sighed, slouching slightly in her seat. Something always had to be going wrong. Did Elaine know? Was it something she was able to sense? Anna peered over her shoulder and looked around the section of the Lux she was sitting in, checking to see if either of the two most powerful residents were in sight. When she saw nothing, she bit her lip, and turned back to her space infront of her. Picking up her cup of tea, she hit the 'refresh' button and watched as the newly updated page loaded.
God was missing, evil was around, things could go bad, or maybe they wouldn't. People were disagreeing, or trying to learn new perspectives, or just not caring. It had to be a Saturday.
