Leah stepped a side automatically as the woman who started running flew past her. Running away, she was use to that. But there was still a fight going, and some masked guy she felt like she should see in a cartoon. She knew the costume, she just couldn't place it. In a flash her stake was out and she was ducking the swing of a vampire. Spinning, her leg collided with the creatures face, before she lunged at easily shoved the stake through the creatures chest, turning it to dust. By now she knew better than to say 'get out of here.' She didn't want to contribute to the amount of people who thought Slayers power tripped. At least not if she could avoid it.
"Hey!" she said, announcing her presents to the other vampires who were busy paying attention to the costumed kid. "It's not right t'ignore th' lady." she informed them in her thick accent. "Come show us a good time." she said with a smirk, beckoning the demons toward her with a slight head motion. No way was she letting Boy Wonder have all the fun. Vampires were her gig after all. A slayer wasn't about to back away from a good vampire brawl.
And it worked, a handful of them switched their attention to Leah, and made their way toward them, fangs bared. Raising her hand to block a punch, the fight began, and determination set in around her. Faith had been right, it all came natural. Sure, there was someone else here, but she didn't know if she could trust him. Leah knew nothing about him, didn't know what side he was on, so she didn't trust him, she had to watch her own back. And while she had been training to be a team player, working on her own just sort of came naturally to her. It was all there. In a matter of minute, or much less, dust was forming in explosions around her as she took down more vampires.
