Leah was used to teams, and it was the opposite for Terry. He was used to operating alone. Or at least, relatively so. As alone as you could get with Bruce Wayne talking in your ears over a two way. It wasn't so much talking as it was barking orders. But it wasn't always bad. A love hate relationship really. Terry had been just about to call it a night when he heard the vampires getting all fangy on an innocent bystander. Just because he was getting tired, and a little cranky, didn't mean he was about to ignore it.
Nope. He dropped from a ledge of the closest building by the cover of shadows in the middle of the vampires circle. Separating them from the victim they'd circled. "Can't we all just get along?" Terry said with a smirk that reached his eyes hidden by his mask. One lunged at him, he just turned to the other side and pulled the girl with him, letting the vampire stumble as he missed his target. "Always gotta do it the hard way.." He shook his head and watched as the vampire gathered his barrings. The teenager dressed in a black and blue suit beckoned the vampire forward mockingly with his hand like they did in all those action vids he watched. Within seconds he was holding a sharp batterang and launching it towards the charging monsters chest, it lodged there for a second directly in the heart before exploding in a shower of dust.
"Go on, get out of here." He said to the girl he was protecting, and she did. She ran the second there was an opening and Terry was relieved. Now he could fight without worrying about the victim. Now the fun could really start.
