Tony didn't look away from her gaze. He knew a thing or two about dark pasts. He also didn't mind that she was dancing around the subject. Sometimes, things, bad things, needed a set-up and sometimes the speaker needed to work their way around to the truth. However, he did hold a finger up to her, signaling for her to wait a moment. The doctor stood and went to the door, closing it over. There was no need for everyone to hear what she was saying.
He took his seat on the stool again and waited. Tony had all the time in the world now and even if he didn't he would make time to hear the problems of a friend. He caught her gaze again and nodded.
