She held his gaze for a few seconds more before downing her vodka in one, this was all part of it too, he'd go away and brood on it for a while, think about the threat and he'd wonder. He'd wonder if maybe it wasn't a step too far and he'd come back to her and grudgingly agree. If any good came from what Alastair had done to her it would be that it might just be what was needed to spur him into action. It had been Lilith and the Seals back home. Here it was the demon terrorising his family.
And Sam was all about family. He couldn't be that different a man to the one from her time, only a few months later, in many ways they were almost closer here.
"I have more respect for you than for anyone else. I won't bring it up again" she said finally, one simple thought crossing her mind.
