Alessa knew at this point that the only two people who weren't going to judge her were Heather, and LaCroix. She hadn't actually gotten drunk last night, but the fight with Lisa, and then Xander mocking her; well it had put her on edge. She thought that maybe in the morning things would be better.
They weren't. Alessa had woken up with a deep ache in the pit of her stomach; a hunch that was too strong to ignore. The people at the Hyperion didn't need her. She had a feeling that some of them still hadn't forgiven her for what she had done. That didn't surprise the young woman, but still it hurt in a way that she couldn't describe. For this reason Alessa wrote up a short letter telling them that she was leaving.
Once she had packed everything (not a difficult feat, considering that she didn't have a lot to begin with); Alessa exited the building, and made her way to a bar. Normally she wouldn't get drunk, but with everything that was going on she just didn't give a shit. It was of course after having four drinks that it was apparent as to why Alessa didn't drink.
She couldn't fully control her powers.
Plus she was depressed and suicidal.
She knew that it wouldn't work, but she had to try it. There was a man in the bar who happened to be carrying a gun, a loaded one at that. She quickly entered his mind and made him follow her outside. Once they were outside she made the guy shoot her in the head at the temple. There was a loud popping sound, and a horrible shot of pain as the bullet traveled through her brain, and exited out the other side.
Her brain healed itself, and so did the wounds for the most part. Save for the entrance and exit wounds. Those didn't fully heal. Terrified, the man ran away from the...what the fuck was she?
At that moment Alessa leaned against the wall, and slid down until she was on the ground. She was crying; trying not to sob. In her drunken state she proceeded to send various texts to people. One of them to LaCroix; asking if she could stay with him.
He told her that she could. She finally managed to get there, but it proved a little more difficult than usual. She kept teleporting to different locations; until she finally managed to arrive at the intended location. She knocked on the door; as soon as he answered it, Alessa quickly fell into his arms. Face buried into his shoulder; she started crying.
