He looked like shit. Though he probobly felt like it too so it worked out. Ruby took the bottle wordlessly classy lady that she was and took a long swig from the bottle handing it back to him. The vampire was now crouched in the corner, a flash of demonic black eyes a few seconds before Sam had arrived and a shove with strength beyond human into the wall had subdued the dead girl. She hadn't tried anything since.
"I'm sorry" she said, that was lying, his taste in music made her sad inside. But she thought she might be able to cheer him up.
"I got you a gift" she said slowly glancing to the corner and the yellow eyes of the vampire glowing almost in the low light of the alley.
"Take your time with her." she told him and held her hand out to hold the whiskey. It was pretty good whiskey too. Better taste in drinks than in music. Go figure.
