Well, there was Ruby saving his ass again. Stumbling forward, gasping for breath, Sam stretched an arm out and the bit of wood spun through the air and slammed into the palm of his hand. Straightening up, he shoved the last vampire into the wall. Ramming his elbow into the vampire's nose, Sam gripped at the stake but didn't quite drive it home just yet. Instead, he started punching at the vampire as many times as he could before the creature overpowered him and shoved him back. That was easily shoved aside though. With another wave of his hand, he sent the monster back into the wall, pausing for a moment to catch his breath yet again.
Wiping some blood from the side of his face, Sam looked to Ruby momentarily before he slowly moved forward, eyes glued onto the vampire ahead.
"Go to hell," he spat. And then, just like that, he drove the stake into the vamp's chest and watched with satisfaction as it crumbled to ashe.
Dropping the splintered wood onto the floor, he looked to Ruby and, with a slightly appreciative look on his face, simply said, "Thanks for that."
