Anybody else having offered to come along and Jack probably would have been reluctant. He was hoping Sam would have, because it was true. They hadn't seen eachother much since Lilith, and that wasn't exactly a happy occasion. A sensitive topic neither one of them really wanted to talk about. Jack was pretending it didn't happen and so far that was working out just peachy for him.
Jack drew his own blaster that hummed silently as it charged. Unsure what they were up against. If it was a vampire it wouldn't do too much good, considering it was concentrated energy and fire. Maybe he could ask the witches for their help and give it an edge of sunlight. That would be fun. They'd never see that coming. He wondered silently if it was possible and peered forward with Sam trying to make out the attacker.
"I've got a clear shot." To anyone else? the angle probably looked impossible. "But is it human or vampire?" There was a scream from the victim as the attacker was harshly gripping it. He kept his voice barely above a whisper. If there was anything that was good about his skills, it was his marksmanship. He had an amazing shot. And with a precision laser like the one in his hands? it was only better.
