Who: Jane and [Open?] What: Hunting When: Feb. 15th, a few hours after sun set Where: Streets of LA Rating: PG-13ish Status: Incomplete
As the days passed, she missed her twin more and more. This place wasn't what she was use to, it wasn't ran like she was use to. The fact that vampires were all but out in the open was something she was not use to, and vampires of her kind did not change often. Though it was a bit of a vacation, to not have to worry so much. The vampires she now found herself with were not what she was use to, but they had a problem that needed to be taken care of. Slayers. Humans that could harm vampires, it was almost laughable, but it was serious problem. They could harm vampires, much like those shape shifters in her world, or even the werewolves, though they weren't as strong.
She was use to working with an army, so at least that much hadn't changed. Though she was a volunteer, so there was a new freedom she wasn't use to. Jane also didn't go hunting very often, Heidi always brought the food to them, but that was not the case now. It was okay though, it wasn't as if she couldn't hunt on her own.
The young couple that was trapped in her marble arms were unable to scream with her hand over their mouths. First the man, then the woman, she felt and heard their heartbeats slowly fade, and then stop as she drained the blood out of them. Her eyes had been black earlier, but now they were nearly the dark red that indicated she was freshly fed. Once the bodies were disposed of and out of sight, where they would no doubt remain that way until the tree she had hid them under became uprooted again, she was on her way.
Perhaps one more meal, just to be sure. Jane left the park she had been in, and started down the streets. Her black robe didn't draw nearly as much attention as she figured it would. There were stranger looking things on these streets than a little girl in black clothing. Eventually her eyes set on a teenager that was heading down the street alone. Heading toward a less populated area of the city. He would do. Smiling, she paced herself, keeping a measured distance between them until it was safe to strike.
