In short: nothing was being done. Or at least nothing that was going to help them get closer to eliminating the threats in question anytime soon. Helena felt a pang of disappointment, followed by growing frustration.
Nothing new there.
No one knew where the Joker was. Nothing could be done about Talia, until Batman decided to make up his mind what he wanted to do. Unfortunately the longer they waited, the more dangerous things were going to become. They had to act fast or they were going to be too late... and guess what? They'd probably have the blame pinned right on them.
Wouldn't be the first time and it certainly wouldn't be the last, she was sure.
All she knew is that he had better make up his mind soon, or she'd gladly do it for him. Because if she saw either of them - Talia or the Joker - she'd deal with them her own way.
"Should I go out tonight?" On patrol. She might not have been familiar with the layout of this city, but she really didn't feel like sitting around on her ass, twiddling her thumbs either.
