It wasn't that Helena had offended him, he was just dealing with so many overwhelming issues he didn't know how to handle it all. He might have been Batman, but he was human, and also a teenage boy. So he could relate when it came to difficult situations the theme of crazy in this city being one of them. "I stayed with them for a while when I was here before. The Hyperion. Good people." Terry said while they spoke about A.I. "Nathan Petrelli landed ontop of my plane. " He flinched at the memory. "Nearly scratched the paint job though." He pushed some black hair from his left eye and reached to shake the offered hand. "Hi." He gave her a half grin when Babs introduced her as one of hers. Though he was feeling more and more like odd man out. His world was just so different from this, and theirs. Even the way he talked was different apparently.
It was awkward to meet all these people supposedly in the Batman line, if Max were there...he might have been filled in and given the 411 before hand and wouldn't have looked like it was his first day out of the bat cave. Glancing at Cass he nodded. "Sup," In a slightly quiet tone. No they weren't on the greatest of terms. He didn't really understand how to get along with her. He was trying and trying, and it just didn't seem to work. That didn't mean he was giving up though, he was too stubborn for that. Then again right now it was hard to do anything that involved the bat-family who grounded him. He'd been locked in the tower for almost a week and a half now, so that was no surprise.
Raising a brow at Barbara he glanced at her and wondered curiously just what sort of training he was going to be getting. Couldn't help but be a little worried after being under Bruce's wing and having training of the unconventional sort in his future Gotham.
