Yeah, Batman had always been a little wary of the super-powered crowd. Mostly because he didn't think he could always trust them not to go insane. After all, most people with superhuman abilities tended to think themselves better than those who weren't as blessed - whether consciously or subconsciously.
Not that she thought all of them were bad or not trustworthy, mind you. But she could see why other people (including Batman) had issues with them.... Though she really didn't know how this Batman thought of them. Because he wasn't from their world, apparently. Unless she'd missed something.
She had a lot to learn about this place and the people within it.
"Angel Investigations? What's their deal?" From what Cassandra had said, they were the major players in this city. She assumed Barbara and Cassandra were in contact with them, and for the reason alone, she'd wanted to know who they were and what they could do. Most of all, if they could really trust them.
As for the JLA, she was tempted to suggest that they sort out their own problems and they (Babs, Cass and everyone else who didn't have their head stuck up their ass) did their own thing.
At this moment, however, she heard someone else chime in. She presumed it was Batman's kid, Terry. If she had offended him, she certainly hadn't meant to. It was just very hard information to digest; she was sure it would sink in sooner or later.
Preferably the former. She hated feeling so out of the loop, as it were.
Helena's jaw clenched at the mention of Nightwing's name and sight of his threads; it was instinctive reflex on her part. But it loosened some while she extended her hand to shake Terry's. "Nice to meet you, Terry."
She'd wanted to call him 'kid' but he didn't look like a kid to her, so she refrained. From the looks of him, he was in his late teens and practically a grown-up.
