They really didn't have two or three days--they didn't have two or three hours. Every hour that passed gave that sick bastard more ideas. But Peter brought them closer to bringing Alastair down, and to be honest he didn't have any ideas now of what would work, so they had to wait.
"He's dangerous." Dean said honestly. "There's a chance that he's thinking about doing something right now, but if we warn everyone to stay inside, to be careful, I think we can wait a little while to make sure that when we act, we can take him down."
Dean had to think that, because if they didn't take Alastair down, if they only got him more pissed off, there was no telling who he would take his anger out on. This had to work the first time, because there was nothing to say if they'd get a second shot or not.
