Padmé was both thrilled Sabé was here, and worried for her friend's safety at the same time. Los Angeles was unlike any place back home that the former Senator could think of, and she was scared that her former guard was going to find herself in a situation she was wholly unprepared for and end up hurt as a result. Of course, before Sabé would take any warning she had to offer about their new surroundings, she had to first prove she was who she claimed to be. Not necessarily as easy of a task as some might think, but definitely something Padmé was determined to make happen.
Heading to the bluffs, dressed in a pair of jeans and a simple button-up shirt that shone as blue as the early morning sky, Padmé was armed with the blaster she'd been given by Wolfram & Hart and a certainty that she would be able to convince her friend of her identity before the blaster would be needed.
The wind was strong the higher up she went, blowing loose tendrils of her hair and causing them to wave about her face in small wisps. Her attention was focused on her surroundings as she didn't want a vampire or demon getting the jump on her. Alert, she managed to spot Sabé sooner than she might have otherwise and was unable to keep the smile from her face as she closed the distance between them.
"You shouldn't stand so close to the edge," she couldn't help but gently chastise as she approached the other woman. There was a fondness to her tone to match the smile upon her feaures. Pausing a few feet away, she added, "They don't have the medical advance here that we're used to."
There was a brief pause and she exhaled softly. "Oh, but I've missed you," she admitted in a brief moment of emotion. Her eyes shone brightly. "So very much, my dear friend."
