Jack's attention had officially been grabbed and his interest piqued. "Older and more delicate, you say?" Jack had a vision of a necklace clutched in Alex's hand and shook his head to remove the mental image. Alien necklaces were not what he had in mind to find here, particularly ones that showed the future.
Nodding his head, and tossing her a wink, he stepped through the door and froze. The back room was not exactly what she had said it was. Churches and altars were not what Jack was looking for. He turned around quickly, intending to get out of there as soon as possible. His gun was near but he knew going for it would only prove to be a stupid move. If he could flirt his way out of there first, he'd take the chance. "You know? Turns out there's not a thing I need. I'll just be on my way."
