"You can ask all you like, Jack." The smile touching the corner of his lips widened slightly. The adjustment to the city was undoubtedly going to be easier with Jack there, and Ianto didn't let himself imagine what would have happened if he wasn't. Nor why that thought didn't sit comfortably with him.
"It may have been a..." few hours, "while," he admitted, with no inclination to return there too soon. Now Jack had taken the folder, Ianto slipped both his hands into his pockets, lingering at the side of the desk. "I wanted to check that everything was the same in there too. It was, apart from a few files out of place. Either someone else apart from me has been in there, or they got shifted when the Hub did."
Looking at Jack meaningfully, he continued to say, "Suzie couldn't tell me why that was." There was a sense in his tone that it was the part about Suzie being there which was the real issue he was hinting at.
