Babs sighed and bit down on her lower lip. The kid was a mess, she could tell that much and she recognised the symptoms. Just shy of cationic and almost completely unresponsive to those he knew only wanted what was best for him. It had taken her a long time to come out of her own post-Joker issues, but here they didn't have that time and all Babs wanted to do was make sure that Terry was ready for what might come.
But it needed to be done gently. "How are you?" she asked him softly. "You should talk about it. If you don't..." She ran a hand through her hair. "The nightmares aren't going to get any better, hon. You can't internalise like Bruce, you just can't."
