He hardly thought that she was crazy. Maybe a little emotionally unstable at the moment, and he had good evidence to back that much up, but never crazy. She had to know that, right? He wouldn't be sitting there, trying to reason with her if she was absolutely insane. That would have been pointless. Besides, they both knew what crazy was really like. He had displayed the perfect demonstration of that a while back when he had climbed out of the pits. That was when he'd start taking in the mindset that she was completely nuts. This? It was nothing. People all over went to see therapists and there wasn't anything wrong with it at all.
"Good," he breathed, rubbing at the back of his neck, "that's good. Thank you."
He moved to sit down on the bed beside her again. "Don't get upset, Heather," he said seriously, "this is a good idea. It'll help you get over what happened. It'll make you feel better."
