"Yeah, I did. Sorry." He arched an eyebrow at her pointed look, a small smile starting. "They're a real big bitch. Sting like mad," he agreed. "Especially when it comes with the realization that you care more than you thought you did, or you wouldn't be so heartbroken in the first place."
