Elaine asked for crisps to the bartender which she apologized and corrected into the Americanism chips before making herself comfortable. “Thanks,” she told Selina, adding a sugar cube into her tea. “I’m Elaine Belloc,” she introduced herself with a bright smile, extending her hand to shake hers. “How do you do?”
