The cemetery was such a cliche place for a Slayer to hang out, but she couldn't really pick and choose her battlefields. A small group of vamps had roughed up a young teenage boy and dragged him off past the cemetery gates, obviously planning on some more fun before they bled him dry. Of course, Buffy couldn't let that happen, so her rather quiet patrol ended up getting a bit of action as she interrupted the whole thing.
The vamps snarled, whipping their bumpy heads in her direction before grinning and giving Buffy a bunch of fanged simpers.
"Looky here! It's the Slayer!" one of them shouted gleefully, shoving the young boy to the ground. Buffy glanced towards him and gave him a silent signal to run, and he did it without a moment's hesitation. He looked to be around seventeen or so. He would be okay.
Buffy looked back to the vampires, seeing that there were four of them total. Not too bad. She tipped her head to one side, very unamused. "Yeah, yeah, the Slayer. I'm Buffy, nice to meet you. Are we done?" In a moment, Buffy was throwing herself at the vampires, whipping out a stake at the same time and taking out two rather quickly. She was working on the others when Kara entered the cemetery, but she was so focused on the fight that she didn't even notice.
