"Hope so." or at least for now, assuming things didn't get messy. But things always, always got messy. That was just how life was. People were going to die by the end of this, or that was just the feeling she was getting. Eve didn't know that, it was just how her imagination was making things play out.
Eve blinked, confused for a second. There were people who could heal others, heal themselves, dish out blood and heal masses in a few seconds. They were how God made them. So didn't that just go against what She had said? Drop it, Eve, best not to ask.
"I think they're the one thing that actually made me care as a mortal." she said with a sigh. "The Fates suckered me into taking the Ascension test without me even realizing what was going on with kids." The Nyx she had been sent after had been harming children and teenagers, and it had made Eve's metaphorical blood run cold.
She smiled, looking back over at God, with a shake of her head. "Can't please everyone. One minute they'll want to You do something, the next, they won't. Demanding bunch." she said, turning to watch a man climb into the pits while a woman who just got out was guided away. "It could end horribly...but...that's life, if I'm remember right. Everything has consequences." as much as she had always wanted the easy way out, it would bite her in the ass later. She might have been an Angel now, but she'd been a mortal for the majority of her existence.
