God trained her eyes up towards the house, falling silent a moment before saying, "I don't think we have to worry about anyone taking them from her. I'm guessing you can see her past as well as I can? She won't let it happen." She wrinkled her nose, thinking of the violence that could ensue from a forced takeover.
"Still, that doesn't make it right. No one is supposed to harness this kind of power, as blessed as it seems. Even my son only healed by direction of my Will." This was too much, on far too much of a massive scale.
She smiled when Eve mentioned her care for the children. "In the past... children have not exactly been at the centre of my concerns." The younger angel hadn't been around for the situation with the Pharaoh in Egypt, but She assumed that Eve knew the story. "That said, I don't appreciate an outside force toying with their lives in this way. So much hope, and then to see it ripped away? I suppose there's no guarantee that will happen here, but one can't help but wonder and then feel bad... horrible for it."
She sighed. "I'm doing my best to stay away. Let it play out in whatever way it's meant to, even if I don't like it."
