"My Lord." she said softly, nodding her head in something as close to a knell she could get without making people stare. She waited until God had reached her, and then turned her head to look back at the pits. They looked like quick stand. Sort of ugly. She half expected people to go in, and then just not come out.
Eve could see the comparison to ants, but she'd never call them that. She'd been mortal once. The miracle of it all wasn't lost to her. And that's what they were calling it, a miracle, at least some of them. Something from God. Others seemed to think it was evil. No one could make everyone agree.
"Some think it's a miracle." she said softly. "Some swear it's pure evil, and most just don't know what to think." she said, with a half smile. Eve didn't know what to think herself. There wasn't really a category to shove them in. "I don't like the look of the woman who owns them, though. Her past is...pretty twisted." Eve could only see the evil done by a person, that was it. And there was lots to see by looking at this woman.
