The her newest little ward currently tucked away somewhere she wasn't allowed to hover, even invisibly, Eve found herself with nothing really to do. She'd know when Ben was out of the protection of magic again, and until then, she was kind of jobless. So, she had bested at least four demons in a hand of poker, and had rescued at least six kittens from the their jaws. Kittens. Who did that? She'd brought five of them to an SPCA. One of them never made it through the doors, having been spotted by a little girl and immediately adopted. The whole idea behind the poker game hadn't been to save kittens though, it simply been to destroy the demons. They weren't half bad guys. Peaceful ones, thankfully.
After that was done she had checked in on Ben again, and then started to wonder. Her eventual wondering had led her to the Lazarus Pits. After hearing another story about how they'd work, she'd become more curious. She was leaning against the fence that boarded off the place, looking in at them. A slight breeze played at the hem of the white summer dress she wore. Half of her wondered, if she jumped in, would she come out mortal again? That was the way she had been born, after all. Though the other half told her the power from the Fates that had made her this way, the power that wold have originated from God, might not be undone that easily. She still wasn't tempted to find out.
Eve turned her head, peering over her shoulder. She recognized Her right away, and a smile came across her face. Eve wasn't know for appreciating taking orders from anyone. At least she hadn't been alive, or dead. And she was still known to verbally slap the Fates with attitude from time to time. She just never wanted to with Her. It was strange, but she wasn't about to argue it.
Eve turned, still smiling to greet Her. She would kneel, as per usual, but people weren't all that far it. The whole kneeling thing would probably look ridiculously strange and might make people stare.
