Heather wasn't disappointed that that wasn't what they were setting out to do, but she was playfully frustrated by the fact that she was still in the dark about all this.
"Well, I don't know about that, but I'm already having fun," she told him, looking over at him with a smile. Really, she didn't think she'd done something worthy of all this. She loved it, yes, but in her mind, what she'd done for Sam over the course of the past few days was just something anyone would do for someone they loved.
As they pulled up to the warehouse, Heather arched a brow curiously. She had no idea what he was bringing her to a place like this for, but obviously, he had something planned. "Okay, if you say so," she said with a light laugh. She climbed out of the truck and immediately moved up beside him, linking her arm through his own as they made their way toward the building.
