Even though it had only been for a few hours now, Heather found herself already loving the fact that Sam was pretty much never without a smile or a grin at this point. She knew he had the capacity to be really happy before, but now, it was as if he'd turned into an entirely new person in a way. He was still Sam, of course, but so much more content with everything. It was something she didn't get to see too much before he'd climbed into the pit, and she knew she wasn't going to get sick of seeing him like this now.
"Maybe you would," she mumbled against his mouth. It was hard not to grin back while he kissed her, and Heather returned the gesture with as much enthusiasm as she could manage before he pulled back.
Another grin and a nod. "Yep, I think so." A moment later, she was reaching down to tug at his hand. "Now come on, I've been waiting too long already. I wanna know what we're doing."
