If Lilah recognized the name she didn't show it, she merely rolled her eyes and put the phone down with just a sigh. No words, just an exasperated huff of air. After waiting a few moments, just long enough to make everyone downstairs start to wonder what she was doing, she got up and strode to her private elevator, taking it down to the lobby.
She walked out, heels rapping a sharp rhythm on the floor.
When she approached the front desk she ignored Tony Montana, looking instead at her receptionist, who seemed flustered.
"Are you alright Carolyn?"
Carolyn nodded with a faint smile. "Yes Ms Morgan, thank you."
"Good." With that, Lilah turned to her supposed client with an arched eyebrow. "You know generally, I only see people with an appointment and I especially don't see people who harass my staff. So you'd better be worth my while."
